As it is the 1 year Anniversary of her husbands passing away , she's really having a diffucult time right now. Knowing all the great people on here , I was hoping that in some way you could help give her support thru this hard time, and to offer advice as well.

Daisy, I'd suggest taking time to honor your husband, with the understanding that the last thing he'd want would be for you to suffer on this day.comfort wine

Yeah, what Jeff said. I'm sure he wouldn't want you getting depressed or moping around the house. I'm sure he'd want to see that you're surviving and getting along well and that you've found some happiness. Remember him, but go out & have a good time.

I can't imagine what it must be like. With friends like Branded and your IRL friends you don't have to go through this alone. It helps to talk about it (that's what I do with anything that's bothering me), I don't do it much on CS, just with friends IRL.comfort sad flower bouquet of flowers teddy bear

You guys all rock! I didn't feel much like talking earlier but I am doing much better. Just needed to get through the day. It was hard because my son is on a camping trip and I can't talk to him, It made it much harder not knowing how he was dealing with everything.

Don't know what it is or why this day had to be so emotional for me but I am glad it is almost over. I've been dreading today for so long but now I am feeling really good about moving forward.

Joey you are very sweet for starting this thread!

I love ya all, my CS buddies, you mean a lot to me!!

Much love,

Ummm... I kinda feel weird if I don't remind people that I was separated for a couple of years before my husband died. He was my best friend and we decided long before to leave it at that. It by no way takes away the hurt or pain of losing your childs father OR your best friend.

To the few of you that sent me some nasty mail... Don't judge, you don't know me or my life. I am an honest, caring person. If you don't see that then that is YOUR problem.
