I read an article on this earlier. There is no settled agreement amungst the nations aside from an anti military agreement. Their have been suggestions and treetys that were only signed by a few nations. There is also a groop that is selling land on the moon, the deeds to the moon realestate may be worthless tho.

There is however legal presidence with the laws concerning the unclaimed oceans, with mineral/resource gathering and salvage.

How should the moon be handled? Can Pepsi use it as a giant billboard? Should it be divided? Should it be its own country ruled by the UN?

Well ya know...it has to be in keeping with what looks like fair governmental standards....they will have to lop off a small slice for maritan reserves though ya know...you can just can't cast them all off into outer space with no place to live.....that wouldn't be humane!!!!!!!!!!

The groop selling land on the moon asked the UN and got no responce, so they concider that as an acceptance of their athority over selling the moon.

typical government policies around the world,they should be worried about how to save this planet befor the think about who owns the moon.

The goverment's official stand is there are no martians, and if there are then they can go back to mars.

The moon beings are probably all just in hiding....wondering who these new invaders of their land are and trying to figure out how to get rid of them....I wasn't aware that the government could have an official stand on something it doesn't own.....

the moon is actually the earth of sorts,the mon was created by an asteriod which hit there earth many moons ago,lol
no really the dust created from the enormous inpact formed the moon as we know it today,so where the asteroid came from is anyones guess,but thats how the moon was formed.. so really the moon is the earth..
