long distance relationships,does it work?

Posted: Jul 17, 2008, 8:54 PM CST
como vai, todos, i was just wondering if anyone had ideas about the above question, i am brasilian but raised in germany and now live in the us in arizona, there is nothing wrong with american girls but i relate better with european girls(as far as talking about art, culture, poetry, cinema) and i really have a thing for british girls(dont ask!). i work for an airlines and fly to the uk quite often and ive lived in europe most of my life so relocating would be no problem for me if i found a special girl to share my life with. Is it impossible ? would no woman take someone from a far distance seriously? Now i seem to have no problem getting messages from older sugar mamas from the uk,but seriously im not that kind of guy(im not just a piece of latin meat, lol). but would a girl my age have anything to do with me or is the distance too much? Ciao,Tschuss, wiedersehen, Obrigado!

i love brazil

and actually its funny you like english girls
theres a guy here who wont go near em

i think to answer your question

anything is possible
life is about choices

i dint think there are any certainties that long distance will work or not work

each couple is different

looks like you have the "means", go for it! let us know what happens,,personally the closest I ever came was exactly "that". a "long distance relationship", now for me,,near or far,,nothing. so cheers and good luck.

Depends on the people involved. If you are insecure and jeaulous, wouldn't recommend it.
But I do think that it takes work, more so than a "normal" relationship!

Yes it can work. Kiss and Eric are proof.
No one really knows until you test the waters. You could live right down the street from each other and it could work or not.
I wouldn't let distance stop me. I don't think distance would stop a relationship--the people involved stop the relationship.
Arizona is nice, lived in Vegas (stones throw from the Hoover Dam) and lived in the UK for three years. Follow your head, heart and soul.
Good luck.head banger
