Every 6 months I don't think so, if this is the case I would assume its more that fact of wanting to feel needed. I think Love is something that is built over a period of time, not something that is taken too the supermarket and exchanged like a pair of undies.

I exchange my undies only every 2 weeks at the supermarket....nobody has ever checked what I'm wearing under my jeans....when the check-out alarm goes, I tell the lady it must be my metal penis ring.....

And you call it love?

Love is!!!!

Love makes you happy
it makes you want to be happy
love takes over ur mind
and its filled with thoughts of the one person who truely
makes ur body tingle
love is the strongest feeling besides hate
and love last inside ur soul forever
love sometimes causes pain becos of fighting
for the right to love
becos its a very complex thing
emotion twisted with lust
twisted with love and amazment
love is truely one of the most amazing things ever experienced
no one can say who is able to love and who isnt
becos the day you fall in love you will know
and you never truely know what love is
until you have fallen

heart beating heart beating heart beating

i suppose it depends how many people you are falling in love with- if it is every person you date, then you are probably not really in love with them, more with the idea that you have to fall in love with everyone you are with? Also- if you really love someone, then it shouldn't fall apart after 6 months- sure it doesn't always work ut happy ever after, but along the way, surely ONE of those relationships should at least last more than 6 months, if it is true love

I couldn't have said it better myself!dancing banana applause

Silly question, but does "falling in love" automatically mean you get yourself a lover? Can we not be "in love" with someone without an actual relationship? (even without the other person being aware of it) Although I too would rather call it lust and hormones in this case.

haha yeah.. like socks

I read this thing.. it said finding a partner is like finding a pair of shoes..

You have to try on lot's of different styles.. shapes and sizes etc.. before you find the one that fits..
or that matches yours. Cinders x

I thought it was more like finding a jockstrap that fits, Claire, but I suppose the principle is the same...?hug wave laugh

If fall in love every 6 months more or less, could we call it love again? in other words could we change our lovers repeatedly and call it love?

Sure we can, its all the same love... BUT; I think it better to work on re-igniting the original flame with your lover rather than change partners. To each their own of course. I dont think theres a law or reason to buy into manogamy if it doesn't suit you.

I dont think we all have just one soulmate, for some there may be quite a few. Still I would prefer re-igniting the original flame, falling in love again with the same person, but thats just moi.

you can call it whatever you want .......nobody can tell you what it is....only u know what the hell ur feelin.....it is my humble opinion that....you may want to slow it down a bit before you run out of woman.
