wave Ha, -was wondering if the ol'Liberal 'comrade' and i could ever agree upon anything! --i recall as a young-lad how thrilled we were at Lee's brilliant weekly-6pm 'live entertainment' at the keyboard, even we in our total naivety knew there was something fascinatingly queer about this 'mamma's-boy', --yet it didn't really matter, as this Jewish guy (right down to the ever present Hanukkah'Menorah -candelabra) was a truly masterful entertainer (and occasionally being 'live' would inevitably hit a wrong 'key', but carry-on terrifically)! Being an automotive Designer and aficionado however, --i always had to laugh in later years at his utterly cartoonist taste in motorcars, --everything in his life seemed to be total 'satirical glitter' from his smile to his attire; --that was his persona= 'show-biz', --but he gave a lot of people the ultimate in entertainment, and for that i had to admire him/her... (RIP) ~Robair dunno cheers handshake

Liberace made remarks about one of his relationships that cost him a lot of money... on stage he never said he was gay... but jokes and silly comments (JMO) were his way of giving people a hint he was.

I remember watching Merv Griffin, and Liberace joking about Liberace's very costly last relationship. A male piano student of Liberace's...

When Liberace passed away, his brother did admit that Liberace practiced a different life style compared to a lot of men.

Totally agree with you... he could play mozart in a boggie woggie style. He was definitly Mr. Entertainment. Liberace would make jokes about himself, his jewellary and costumes, even his facelifts ... He was one of a kind. There will never be a talent like him again.wine
