I'm sorry to hear that you were alone all weekend. If I was in Texas, I'd have loved to go out with you...I love going out.

But I know how you feel. I go out by myself quite a few times too (particularly in the last 4 months). It sucks, doesn't it?

Yeah. I have a similar problem with non-American girls, too, Joanie. They're just too damn romantic - always wanting me to send them money so they can fly to America to visit me. As much as I admire their romantic idealism - being willing to uproot to meet a new love - I just feel one should be more practical about such matters, as tempting as it is to purchase tickets for them to come visit.dunno sigh
