Now here's an idea for the poor:

Congress is currently considering the idea of raising fuel taxes by ten cents. Right now we pay 18.4 cents a gallon on gas and 24.3 cents on diesel. Congress thinks that this would be a great time to increase those taxes that you are paying at the pump.

Why???? Well, it seems that our federal government doesn't have enough money to spend on highway projects. The chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Jim Oberstar presented the House with a list of how many jobs we will lose if we don't continue to spend tax dollars on highway construction and infrastructure. Oberstar says, "We'll put all things on the table ... but the gas tax is the cornerstone. Nothing else will work without the underpinning of the higher user fee gas tax." Gas tax revenues are down, of course, because the high price of gas is forcing people to consume less.

Here's an FYI for you ... If you include state and local taxes, Americans pay about 47 cents on average in taxes for a gallon of gas. In many European countries, gas costs $8 to $9 a gallon, and at least half of that goes to taxes.

REply. Niether Chavez of Castro while they were getting power, announced they were going to nationalise industries. Ultimately they both did. Obama is a politician....he knows that if he announced for nationalized a industry, his run for president is over. But if given the chance with say a Dem congress that want to nationalize the airline industry or oil industry...where they are having a few areas of conflict.....my bet is he would sign it.

Larry Gould, Professor of Physics at the University of Hartford and Chairman of the New England Section of the APS, called Monckton's paper an "expose of the IPCC that details numerous exaggerations and "extensive errors"

In an email to DailyTech, Monckton says, "I was dismayed to discover that the IPCC's 2001 and 2007 reports did not devote chapters to the central 'climate sensitivity' question, and did not explain in proper, systematic detail the methods by which they evaluated it. were involed in the 2004 recount procedures? Know the process that
the ballot were handled after it became clear that a recount was going to be needed and that the election hinged on it?

Really Dude when you say.......cheated his way to the most important job in entire earth.......that means a number of Floridan had to cheat with him. In the three recount counties.....each one of the questioned
ballot was inspected by the canvansing board.....that is 7-10 and then a inspection team of 3...one dem, one rep, one ind. So likely for you to have GBW cheating his way to the Oval office.....you have to have at least 100 or more people cheating with him. Some of them....of the opposite party.

If you want to see a election that is about to get stolen (cheated).....it is this coming 2008....with the voter fraud issues in 20 states.
