Barak feels that the interceptor is a 'unprefected' weapon system.
Also he is talkiing about reducing DoD spending. So the interceptor
could be one of the programs he cuts.

So let us say....his estimation the Iran will give up the nuc, just because he talks with them.....fails and ......Iran gets the nuc and
has the missiles with nucs to reach Europe. OK?

But Barak has cut the interceptor program.....so Europe does not get the 10 that GWB has agreed to put there.

How do you feel about that? Concerned or not?

I will be deeply concerned about Iran becoming a nuclear country. I think the interceptor idea of GWb is a totaly failur as well because it creates a bad relationship with Russia which is one of the main keys in order to defeat Alqueda and maybe one of the most important ones.

I like a deep and close relationship between Russia and USA and nothing can create a better stabilisation of this world and the middle east of course as well.

I am sure Obama will not cut that much in weapon tecnology any way. He knows a strong military power is very important for the sake of pace.

He will demand real results and he will make the kind of excellent work Clinton did against South Africa and will be very deep going with rela sanctions until the regim obeys. I am certain Iranain regim is mostly for McCain as well.....they know Obama will not let them be. Making a savage regim as the one in Iran is not necessarily with usage of weapons .

I guess with a McCain on power......Iran will for sure get nuclear capabilities. Exactly as Pakistan did. I dont think Iran will need to make the damn thing at all! They will get one from black marked some how if McCain takes over and by that they wil have an excuse for doing so.

I dont beleive in any interceptor thing can mannage to defend Europe against rocket attacks from any where. Some of those will get throuhg the net anyway I am certain, if that horrible day comes!

It has to be deployed to be of use. Yes? And while Russia and USA

GITMO detainess were given their Maranda rights. Which opens the
door if thier cases go to civilan courts......they could be kicked on
the technically....that thier rights were violated. Also they have already
ruled on one military tribunal case, that there will be a civilian
review of the proceeding. So likely all them will get a civilian
hearings.

Does not matter that they detained in a foreign land where US
jurisdiction is non existant.

That they are not US citizens.

That were either in a para military or military unit.
(Geneva Convention).

That there is not a soldier in the service is trained to give Maranda rights.

That just by merely associating with the CIA and the US Military in a foreign country.....where they were shooting at them.....they
