Ottawa county health clinic treats illegal aliens no questions asked. They even pass out flyers in spanish so the know.

as far as being appalled? I couldn't give a rats ass what happens to those people. I'm half Mexican, my mothers family is Mexican, and they don't give a rats ass either.

My Mexican Grand parents struggled just as hard. They raised 11 children with NO GOVERNMENT WELFARE, NO FOOD STAMPS OR FREE MEDICAL CARE!

In Michigan, illegal aliens get welfare, food stamps, section 8, and medicaid. So if you think I'm going to shed a tear for them, think again.

Try harder... Illegals aliens are significantly different than American citizens......they walk upright, eat, sleep, work, etc. There goes the zenophobe theory. They're just illegally entering the US.You've got the same problem in GB....Brits are just afraid to address it....

I hold that its a problmen here too Indy but the difference is in the way we handle it - the way I see it is that we have one world and whilst we have the extant political climate we are played one againast another - it really doesnt have to be that way - there are alternatives...........

I tend to give a rats ass (or even arse) about people who are having a hard time just having a "normal" life, even if I have never met them ... I prefer the feeling of compassion to the feeling of not giving a rats arse ...

Yes, your right the company is at fault.

What the media doesn't show on TV is that after one year of working here, illegal aliens are driving

brand new cars. That is not a lie or an exageration. They are having no problem making good lives for

themselves. AND they are certainly not afraid of getting help. I walked inthe FIA office (welfare office)

with my ex's sister one time and the entire waiting room was filled with them.

the sad thing is, my ex's sister really really needed some help but they turned her away.

There in lies the problem......It may be one world, but not one nation. I have no desire to become a part of Europe any more than you care to become a US citizen.

isn't this discussion omitting the fact that recently the Irish government tried to have the Us government legalise all the illegal Irish in the US? as a kind of 'goodwill gesture'

Why doesn't anyone understand the word illegal? Law Breaker? Criminal? since a presedence is being set here that illegal is ok.... then do we legalize...

Rape? Murder? Robbery?

Since these are at the moment Illegal too.

I see the problem in all the things which distract us fron the ideals which we hold as an objective, collectively. Al those eroneous issues that are brought to the fore in the news every day, those inconsequential matters which serve to take our minds off the stufff thats really going on.........
