At least one place stood its ground. Would be nice to get cops doing their jobs instead of using their positions.

There's places here in Michigan who serve police officers free coffee.

Of course I think it was wrong for the officer who demanded coffee and refused to provide services.

Yeah that's true Somechick, But in this country they make pretty good squid, why can't they buy it like everyone else. Nobody likes it when their politician's take advantage of a situation. I see no difference.

I agree with you that they should have to pay for it. I don't like it when politcians take advantage of a situation either.

Tater, bite me. After your other disgusting, out of line posts, not gonna make nice nice with a two faced double standard hypocrite that has already shown his true colors.

SatelliteServer, "I think 5-O should get free coffees donuts lunch etc. but not demand it and thats for sure, they work had and need the appreciation..
"Uh, that is what the paycheck is. Not like they do it for free LOL
"They have a shorter life span from the work load,"
That they CHOSE to do, no one forced them. Sure, you can go on and on about what is on the streets, and for most of those examples I could counter with one where the cops were doing just as bad and causing some of what is out there by their actions. Nope, not heros by a long shot. I consider firemen and paramedics the closest to that. Cops HIDE behind their guns and badges, that those others do not have, and USE them for their own petty power trips way too often.

trublu you sound to me like a very unhappy person.

Did someone do you wrong for you to have some of the feelings to you?

Not trying to be mean only wondering.

Sometimes when someone isn't happy they display some unhappy behavior.:

cops are the biggest gang in the world so they take their power way too far. power corrupts absolute power corrupts absolutely. or it goes something like that. i was in the passenger seat on canada day when we got in an accident and because it was my car the police grabbed the youngest kid there made him sign a statement under duress so they could get a charge that is not going to stick so we the taxpayers have more money to spend. once we start holding the police accountable only then will they do their jobs properly. i dont know why it is that i have to do their job for them i find straight people that were there that night for my witnesses but the police prefer to find a drunk and threaten him to make statements against other people. what a joke are they there to serve and protect or to frame and imprison. makes you wonder. have a great day, i like the forums i see you post. keep at it girl.wink

if theres one thing that will surely always be wrong is sweeping generalizations about ANY group
and it is bigotry

not very forward moving for the world but oh well

generalizations also give a sense of security sometimes i spose

whats there to be happy about when the people that are supposed to serve and protect you are doing the opposite. im one of the happiest people you will meet. hell i go into a court room and speak what nobody else will. i walk into the coucil chambers for meetings and the mayor comes to talk to me before hand because he does not want me making a scene on televised meetings that everybody gets to see and its supposed to be freedom of speech. what are these criminals afraid of, you look at their faces and their all red faced. i mean these are people with a lot of secrets. so really you tell me what there so happy to be about when people that are supposed to be helping you are doing the exact opposite. confused dunno
