Have been there. Sometimes still am. My take is more spiritual now. If G-d sends me some one, I will accept that precious gift again. I'm just being pickier this time around. But do understand.

Spiritual I can relate too.......if the good lord means to send someone in our paths they will arrive.......until such time.......I am very picky.....rolling eyes

Has anyone else reached this place if so let me know...

Having someone to have fun with would be ok but not a total commitment. I doubt if I could go through loosing someone again. It's too painful.

You see, there is where one of the problem lays, don't get me wrong, not trying to be any certian way, everyone needs time to heal after a relationship is over, depending on which one of the you got tore up..

but one can't go through life holding over another for what someone else did to them, all of us have been hurt, all of us have suffered at the hands of another, life is a chance, relationships are a chance, waking up in the morning and going to the store is taking a chance that you may never come back...

When a person holds themself back because of what another did to them, means you let that person take away a chance at finding the real one that is ment for you..

comfort

Someone who would have some of the simliar interests, and no not only regarding (sexual things).

Someone who could be my friend.

He's a people person as myself.

My former husband was good a provider and father to our children but he wasn't much of a people person.

Never wanted to do things that I liked to do but always expected me to do things that he wanted to do.

I was under the impression that relationships were supposed to be a two way street where two people meet one another somewhere on neutral territory. Not this kinda thing where it's just my way or the highway kinda of relationship.
