im find myself getting down in the dumps more and more every day , trying to find a date and having any luck . im tired of going to the bares every weekend and just cming back with a hang over > i cant decide if its becaese i meeting some one at a bar is not a good idea anyways were is a good place to meet some one ?

My mother used to tell me that a bar was no place to meet a man cause most of them are usually hiding they're married.

Bars are great places for meeting drunks that's for sure.........

If that's not what you have in mind then clubs or interests are good ways of meeting people, or on here, especially in forums.

I have met some nice people in bars, both genders and some are now great friends...prior the intoxication of course as it is not a good indication of a true personality...besides if you are drunk you are also wearing huge beer goggles and they all appear like Johnny Depp and Marilyn Monroe...

Bars = alcoholics

Bookstores = intellectuals.

I'm 48 years old. When I was a young man bars were bad places to meet girls. Now with the deadly STD's out there they are dangerous places to meet girls. Alcohol=stupidity=death

I think its a great place to meet people, people are themselves after a few beers, you see them as they really are but Im from Ireland what would you expect?
