I meant that in a good way. With my friends, a good Butt Kicking is routinely dished out to anyone who starts getting down in the dumpers. It's an attitude adjustment!

I'm agreeing with you, silly.

Good question.... but has more than one method of... filling in that void, or healing.I do something.... like paint, write... go for a walk....... sit out side and look at the sky, my garden.... listen to music and think. Sometimes it involves me looking at myself to see why I feel this way.

I wonder why I feel this way if my life is full..... For myself, I think it's because I want to be special to that one person... does not mean I am not loved, but would like to have that special person in my life.

And since I am neurotic... I give myself hell for feeling this way.

Wish I had an answer for you. Sorry.

I think your post has captured the exact feeling of most people on here.....

bouquet of flowers ...for having the courage to put it out ..in black and white. It has surely reached a lot of people on here... with *nods* of confirmation, understanding..and *connection*.

Do you ever get that empty feeling like you are missing something or someone has taken a part of you that you may never regain?

Sounds a little depressing and I have started this thread many times, but have always deleted it.

If you feel this way, what do you think could make you feel whole again?

Think we all have that feeling from time to time. It kinda makes me realize how good my life actually is. Might sound crazy but when I feel like that I have to remind myself of all the things I should be greateful for. If I don't do that it definitely is gonna be a "poor me"-day....

Friends help when I get to feeling this way. There are so many people that I just love and love me too. I couldn't have gotten through some of the cr@p in the last couple or three years without them.

If you don't want an empty heart, you have to be willing to let others in to fill it. hug kiss

I used to, but then I woke up to life. "Nobody" is responsible for my feelings but me. They are mine, I create them, I own them.

I am whole and always have been except when I "choose" to be miserable, nobody else can make me that way.

"FEELINGS", are not right or wrong, they just are..

Know something else I've found, it's ok to be miserable sometimes. It's life, I want to live it, feel it, all of it. I can't feel good without feeling bad sometimes.
