Ha Ha .. me too... its actually quite hard to avoid them until you get the hang of it.. now I would just try and be honest in as diplomatic way as possible.. not easy!!! just a relatively new thing for me to try and avoid white lies.. whether I can endure this strategy in all situations remains to be seen TBH... I have already had a couple of tiffs with my Mum for being honest.. but she came around and was pleased in the end... thats the thing about honesty as well.. it might sting initially, but most of us ultimately appreciate it in the long run... e.g.. If I looked crap in something.. I would want someone to answer me honestly if I asked.. the truth would probably knock me for six initially but at least I would not be walking around the place oblivious that I look ridiculous..

On this one I fully agree. On these sites you find cretons like crotalus_p who do nothing but stalk people to post sniping little troll posts in every forum. Why? Perceived slight, no response to a message, just plain hating on Americans...who knows. More importantly, why care? You get to know who the trolls are before too very long. At first, if you read them the right way, those pop offs can actually be funny as hell. When you get bored with it, just skim past and stop reading them. I have gotten to that point with crotalus_p. If the foolish clod ever gets a clue, I will see mention of it in another post, but until then, naw, got bored with the mundane, childish pop offs. No substance, no information, no learning, nothing of value, so not worth my time. I would suggest you take the same attitude with those that are so petty they feel the need to harrass you. No way you will ever get a wannabee to tell the truth, not part of their mental or moral make up.

You should call Dio, let him sweet talk you a little, you'll feel much better after that. Seriously....do it.

I guess it depends on how major the issue was. Sometimes people say things just to get a reaction. I would decide if it was worth all the fuss or not. If so, then confront them, simple as that. Otherwise, just ignore it and let it go. Don't give them the thrill of attention if you can help it. But in the end, completely up to you and only you.

Yes that is true also. That is why I said, "depends on how major the issue was" something like posting something for everyone else to see, I would email them privately and speak to them about it and perhaps say a little something in my defense on that thread, but not enough to create a huge scene.

Just like everything in life, it is all a case by case scenerio and to who the scenerio happens to.

Only people who don't know you would call you lier when you're not. For this reason cut with that person. Lier is sooo low...that's a diminishing accusation. Cut it!
