As far as black slaves, do you really think those English in their sail boats really forced them,the tribes would have blasted them with 1000s of spears, their(Africa) own King sold them, and it was a good thing(not at the time) because lots of them are out of that hell hole today,,,their people are dying from no food and sickness and the gov't with the big diamond industry don't help. Apparently you do recognize Ali because you know something about her, much of the Muslim world does. She escaped to Holland running from a forced marriage. She was brave enough to speak out against honor killings and the suppression of women, true by their family's, their Islamic family's. This is not practiced by all Moslem people who follow Islam or in all nations.

Turkey is a more moderate country, but it is practiced even in first world countries in small family enclaves and it is hushed up with no one willing to testify to the killing crimes committed in the name of Allah and Islam. In Iran, Sudan, Nigeria these killings are either sanctioned by or overlooked by the government.

So why do you ignore most of the links of proof that I provided on these honor killings/stonings, and outright murders and focus on Ali. Is it because she hasn't been killed yet; as much of the fanatical Islamic world believes she should be for her defection from Islam?

That's very true, personally I enjoy debate, the exchanging of different viewpoints and ideas is very enlightening, and I don't require someone align with my own opinions to qualify as a good person.

I also very much admire your attitude of tolerance and compassion. Kudos to you morganlee, I wish more people were like you.

Attacking, defaming, degrading and being downright rude in responding to people who are asking honest questions and trying to share information just gets to me. I've taken care of a lot of children in my time and found when this happens they need to be called on this and asked to change. This no doubt is the background for my calling goodguy9994 on his bad behavior, even 'tho he is past childhood, he is acting as if he is a naughty child.

Manners is what keep us from wanting to destroy each other just to stop the insults. They ad much to any cross cultural/religious/personal debate.
