robert mugawae is the president of zimbawae the niebouring country to south africa .

he has been the president there for 28 years after he was a guerilla fighting fighting to end aparthied and to get black people to right to vote etc.

he started out with a guy called josha encono as freedom fighters to lead the blacks to freedom, and when they got freedom after a while made the country a one party state with him as president .

they recently had what was suppose to be free and fair elections which he lost ...but then refuse to tell the country the real result for 5 weeks whilst they rigged the ballot . the ballet result then showed the oppostion leader beating him aspresidental candidate with more than 50% of the vote ..but not enough to win outright .

so they made it so that they hasd to have a re election ...then got his army and police to start to kill off his opponents supporters and starve people of food in the aeras where people never voted for him.

they then continue to beat and kill so many of the oposition that the oppostion leader called of the election to stop all his people getting killed.

mugawae then refused to except his pull out from the election and insisted that the election went ahead even though the main opposirion voters ( which was the majority of the country ) refused to vote, and then declared himself president again !

dancing banana head banger

all of was going on whilst the south african president was suppose to be negiting behind the scenes between the 2 sides .

but the fact is the oppostion has a majority or big numbers in parliment

and with mugawae really loosing the presidental election as a seperate
poll . the oposstion leader and his party with the majority seats in parliment should be running the country.

peace

Gilly, just who do you think should be the ones to do anything about this? Sure, I suppose some would say the US, since so many seem to assume that we would be the ones to be guilted into bailing out any country on any issue. But, I think that would be the worst idea. Already have to deal with a bunch of myths and lies over the slavery stuff. If we were to go in there and deal with this, we would be accused of having started that whole thing too. Then we would have even more racists protesting and demanding even more freebies and benefits than they already have. That would probably be the straw that broke the camel's back for thinking Americans, and it would be on in a big way.

So, seriously, who do you think IS in a position to do anything about this, well, other than the obvious choice? (Yeah, we bucked our oppressors, so not like I am going to understand why cowards who won't should be respected.)

Some but not many, most have been looking at the UN, and it would have to be a predominately black UN force based simply on the fact that Mu and his party are racist plus the last occupying force was British who are about as well liked in Africa as the French ,

It is not a problem getting African troops the problem is getting well trained well equipped African troops in past conflicts when the UN has asked for African troops what they got where stacks of them because the nations that where sending them could not afford to feed them let alone arm them properly
