Personally, I tend to like a band or an artist for a limited time. Especially, when they produce a new album that totally differs from the previous.

But there's only one band I can safely say I love every single song on all their albums/eps/lps.

And the band is BRAND NEW!...

Lots of good new bands about, some
'relics' from the past wont go away.
But for me on musician grabs my
attention every time, and has done
since the sixties.
Almost totally unknown mainstream,
has a massive following, and acclaimed
by many top musicians as one of the
best singer songwriters Britain has
produced.
Many of you will have heard his wonderful
singing without realising.
Roy Harper sang the lead vocals on Floyd's
'Have a Cigar'
Led Zep recorded 'Hats off to Roy Harper'
on their third album.
Well into his sixties now, Roy still leaves his
home in Clonakilty Southern Ireland to
enthrall his many fans here in the UK, and
hopefully will continue to do so for some
time to come.

My hats off to you Roy.tip hat

I like the Thompson Twins too. "Hold me now" was my fave song of theirs. I went to see them and also "Human League" when they were at height of their glory. Both bands come from Sheffield which is in my neck of the woods.

Always used to puzzle me why they were called twins though when there were 3 in the band laugh

Not letting you get away with that Zell!!

Sheffield, your neck of the woods???

You might be able to claim the Velvetones,
Housemartins and the 'mighty' Pink Noise,
but Sheffield is musically a million miles away
from Hullsticking out tongue
