I seem to get that question a lot, both in real life and here.

Why is that?

I mean, sure I'm not the ugliest girl in town, but that just mean I get more comments like the ever classy: "Haha, your boobs look heavy *burp*, need help holding them?" rolling eyes

Doesn't mean the right guys camp outside my window or something, and is it just me or does the question kinda imply that I'm easy and would just date any man willing to tag along?? laugh

Somebody, please explain it to me!

I think the reason a lot of beautiful educated and amazing women are still single is that they hold on to old social norms and have to wait to be asked instead of having true equality, ( which we don't have yet), and do the picking up themselves. Beats me why it is this way, but it is still socially unacceptable in most places to take the bull by the horns so to speak and just proposition some man about a life commitment.

Taboos are crazy things, most of us don't know why we follow them but we do anyway and feel we have to sit around waiting for a man to tell us we can be with them .wine

I haven't got that problem I do take initiative, but guys feel intimidated on their manlyhood when you ask them on a date and insist on paying etc. (the person who invites, pays... In my world at least).

Jeez. Men! laugh
