I turned down a great paying job once because they were coming out with new rules about not smoking on company property even in your own vehicle. Also banning us from getting to drive to a fast food store for lunch cause we might smoke.
I had been working there thru a temp service for 6 months and when they offered me a permenant positon at double pay and I knew about the new rules about to kick in I told them, NO Way!

In the city of Davis California they have a smoking ban in all public places... even walking down the street. A friend of mine was having a cigarette in his car... he received a ticket because......

They tried the no smoking thing in Ibiza a couple of years ago... as far as they got was having restaurants and bars post a sign on the door saying that smoking is permitted.

I love living in Ibiza...

Surely smoking should be confined to smoker's cars? Keep them in, keep them poisoned and out of trouble!
