I've seen it more and more common lately.
Men and women disguising their relationship status. Not answering the phone, removing of their ring,( yeah in dark places tan lines are less noticeable, even singles wearing wedding rings? I personally(almost intimately )know a married woman who does the tanning booth thing, yep she removes all rings .

things used to be so much simpler dont'cha think?

You would like to think that the last thing one is thinking about when approaching another is there status...HMMMMMMMMM????

Those who are happily committed will come right out and tell you so.
....But your right, true colors always come shining through eventually.

If I am not happy with my relationship....I leave!! End of story.

While married and unhappy, there is enough porn on the internet and enough hand lotion, that I can live until the attorneys do their thing!!

No need to cheat!

Your thread brought to mind a time long ago.

When young women lived with their family until they were married.

Men came to "call" and were supervised by the woman's father.

Divorce was unthinkable and a disgrace.

That was a long, long time ago!!!!

Back in the mid 80's, I was in the Air Force, stationed in Southern California. My buddies and I would go down to San Diego when the fleet would go out and we would troll the bars for married women.

Not what you think...scold

The bars would be loaded with all types of married women. We would move in on them one at a time, flirt and lie to them. More times than not they would ask us to take them home. Then we would go off on them... cheating while thier husbands we serving thier country...

It would really pi$$ me off..

Back when I was 18, my navy boyfriend took me to the enlisted men's bar on his base.

All he had to do was go to the men's room and his so called "friends" were all over me like flies on s**t!!!

I learned to live far away from the base!

In my earlier years and single, my girlfriends and I wanted to go out dancing. Too often we couldn't get a dance unless we approached
the guys.

Anyway we got tired of that and tried an experiement that worked great , we put rings on our wedding ring fingers and then go. The guys constantly approached us for dancing, so after that we wore rings so we could dance. And we danced most every dance all night.

Of course at the end of the night they wanted to go home with us. Our buddy system protected us, we could stand up for each other with the answers No way misterrolling on the floor laughing laugh

Hey Girl how are ya?
Funny thing, when I was young and single I did the reverse. I bought a wedding ring set to where out! Still did not stop them all, but it weeded them out pretty good! Should have had it on when I met my EX!
I still use that trick a lot now though too!
But I never took my rings off to pretend I was not married. Heck the rings came off and went flying never did find them.

Hey Girl , I missed youwave I think it has to do with being in a bar, they seem to think they won't get stuck in a relationship messing with married ones. But outside of a bar , oh yeah wearings keeps them away.laugh

Which brought to my mind an even longer time ago...when if you wanted a lady you bonked her over the head and dragged her by her lice-infested hair to your cave where you kept her tied up until she successfully mastered the doggie position and the art of mammoth stew...smitten day dream dunno
