Being of that generation...

I wouldn't do it.

I might rock out in the living room of my castle in England or my villa in Tuscany....

But not on tour, thank you grin

I think they should give up at 50, invest in a decent rocking chair and spend the rest of their days rocking away in that cheers

What about Clapton? Hyde Park would have missed out had he decided not to perform.....

And even thou gone over the 50 mark myself now.......no way do I feel ready for the rocking chair my lovely goth lady.....

You don't know what you will be missing professor

I've been working on my "Do-it-yourself-rocking-chair-kit" since my last birthday and your last birthday laugh

If it all works out as planned. I'll only have to glue the rockers on the bottom of it on eve of my 49th birthday thumbs up

Might make my typing a little bit shaky on here though or I could attach a brake to both rockers rolling on the floor laughing

Actually.........may be an idea......

maybe we could come up with some erotic twist to using the rocking chair after all......

might come in handy once the arthritis starts hitting home sort of thing....

rolling on the floor laughing

Yes, it could even be a mutipositioned one with all add on bits on. Painted in lovely striking colours. Possibly black/red/gold. That could be my winter rocker chair version laugh

All we need is a good imagination and fantasymind and the list of rocker chair positivities would be endless day dream

laugh wave

I see that the MOODY BLUES are currently touring the UK.

On your scale, the tour would be cancelled.

They are one of the greatest groups to ever perform.

Their music is MUSIC, not a bunch of screaming and noise!!!

I must disagree with you here.

Some things get better with age, like a fine wine.

Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood are great examples. Their new releases continue to be better and better.

I will never get sick of Classic Rock. It's what I grew up on. I have been to hundreds of concerts.

These people are true musicians and many of them graduated from Juliard. More than I can say for the noise makers of today.

well I was part of the wild club scene when I was a kid, within the first rows of most concerts and a member of a premoter, friends with some canadian bands and a friend of a Producer...

Times changed, I did an Asian Holiday tour and got a suite and tie, my friend in Asia told me to "Get a Grip" some nice shoes and well now I am just not into what they are singing about....

Besides Keith Richards says Mick can't get no satisfaction

How can you tell you are at an old geezer rock concert?

The chicks in the front row have to lift their skirts to flash their boobs.
