Sorry HJ your question was when I was out and the pages like you said grew so fast I didn't see it.

I think that these days kids who take social science classes in secondary school here, discuss responsibility and the ins and out of relationships through roleplaying various scenarios. They certainly didn't do that in my day, so the younger generations are a bit more enlightened than we were.

There are so many more books written on the subject too from male and female perspectives so the internet is a great source of learning aobut people.

I think that in every walk of life you will get people who don't know, because they have either not been exposed to a situation or because they have no interest in it.

This happens with relationships and sex too. Some have one partner for life. Maybe they get lucky and please each other and never need to even think about it, until one of them decides to divorce or dies, then all of a sudden you have one older person who has no idea how to please another man who might have different needs, or vice versa.

I don't think it is so much that women don't want to teach men but rather that they don't know any more than men do either. Some people just like to take the easy road and presume all people are the same, when this is blatantly not the case as we see here in CS.

I think places like this are good for learning about people in an honest and safe environment though and what turns them on or off or makes them tick.

On a more serious note I can see where sex and responsibility would be walking a fine line. although we are not ultimately responsible for another's pleasure, just by dint of the fact that we are with them, means we would like to please them, but if they don't like what we are doing, or our version of what they want, then we could end up with a very bad experience and take all the fun out of it for eveyone concerned.

So should our responsibility be, to please ourselves in the process of making someone else happy and then at least come away with some satisfacton, and our self worth intact, or is it the responsibility of each to please the other without thought for the self, as some people think????
