A new tv series Totally Calum Best: The Best Is Yet To Come aired last night on MTV UK and Ireland. Calum Best will spend 50 days and 49 nights without sex for our new MTV show- Totally Calum Best: The Best Is Yet To Come. The premise of the show is detailed below.

The famed lothario wants to prove to the public that there is more to him than just pulling models and celebs.

His task starts on Tuesday June 17 and our cameras will watch his every move to see if he really can survive without the love of a good woman.

Best- son of legendary footballer George- has previously had flings with A listers like Lindsay Lohan, Sarah Harding and er, Gemma Atkinson.

Do you think that sex is now viewed and treated as a throwaway commidity?. Surely sex has to mean something and tacky shows like the one above show it as something you can get anywhere.

To me sex is spending time with the one you like/love and showing/proving how you like them physically.

What are your views on this?.

Seriously Skimp I think the older you get the more you appreciate what a special thing sex can be.

There are all types in the world though those that use and abuse it, and those that love and cherish it.dunno

I always appreciated sex maybe because I am an old fashioned romantic at heart. I wish more people did we need more of those values back in society. Now in saying that I am no prude but there is a time and a place for everything.

I don't know how exactly to say this, I have been thinking about it and can't seem to come up with the right words. Our society as a whole has perverted what sex is and should be. Just look at the decline over the last 50 years.....

Do you know how much of a tizzy it sent people into when they actually had Dizzy and Lucy in the same bed on TV? Fully clothed, same bed instead of different beds, society went nuts about it.

Yet today, people would sit back and laugh at that kind of indignation. And we seem so much better off in society today then we did then, right?

In some ways, yes. In many ways, no way.
