No, it does not cross my mind.

I think if a man wants to get to know me, spend time with me, and I do him then I am secure enough to feel that it is what we both want.

Fantastic, I do hope it works out for you.

Enjoy it, rather than worrying about it.

Hi, thanks for your comments. No, not something I worry about. I am like you in that way. But unlike you, the thought has crossed my mind. I had just wondered. I agree, if that person, wavers in any significant way, then he is not for me and vice versa.

Hi

Because I have not met any person from here and the gentleman I was becoming close too was not a poster in the forums then I suppose that to be honest I am not in a position to say.

But I think me being me, like you I would feel confident enough to know that I was the person he is wanting to get to know.

I do think there is a lot of flirting and banter in here, but I see it as all harmless fun, and if he were a poster, then I would want him to continue being one.

Yes, I agree. Flirting is harmless, and all done in jest. However, I am fairly new on the site, only about 2 months, and didn't hop onto the forums until well after that as I hadn't really discovered them. So I don't have a history of relating on this site, as many others do.

And yes, posting on the forums are good fun. I'm afraid though, that I am discovering I have more of an addictive personality that I thought I ever had! But at least it's a healthy addiction!

Oh, I have only been posting two months, I have been a member since February, but no posting.

Like you my history is limited, so therefore, I have little chance to form any solid bonds, although mine have been with women, so if nothing else I have gained a few lovely friends.

Yes, that's another lovely side to the forums, I'm finding. Out of the blue, from across the globe, some wonderful women out there to relate to and form bonds with. That is special. I think the universe is so open to this kind of relating. We each send out our thoughts and emotions into the big pool out there, and some of us connect in a really nice way.

So you've been on holidays? How nice for you. Hope you've had a realxing and fun time. Do you start work on Monday? I leave for my 3 weeks away, this coming Saturday, off to Italy . It's all whizzing by so fast, though before I know it, I will be back. I hope to be able to log in sometime, but I have no idea what internet access I will at my ready disposal.

Enjoy your being back at work!

Morning JB

Lovely to see you.

V

I am so jealous that you are going to Italy. YOu will find as JB has said find lots of internet cafes.

Yes, I have been back home in the UK for the summer, but I have a company there, so I have worked periodically, as my business partner handles most of it for me.

I am back to work tomorrow. Looking forward to it actually.

I will still log in once a day for chats and things.

Ok, since I just now saw this thread - and to respond to the O.P. - I am a living success story for CS.

I met my lovely wife here and we've been together for roughly a year and a half and were married one year, three weeks and two days ago. It continues to boggle my mind how quickly the time has passed -- I moved to East Tennessee in March of last year and I could swear that it feels like only a few weeks have passed. She continues to be the light of my life and my very reason for living. And I continue to feel whole and complete for the first time in my life. My biggest hope is that someday I can repay everything she has done for me.

The "Knoxville area picnic/get-together" that was held a few weeks ago was the day after our first anniversary and was designed specifically so that our friends from CS (where we met!) could help us celebrate our special day.

I've been asked why I (we) remain here (on CS) even though we've found each other (I've even been called a fool and a cheater for being here!) and the simple answer is that, 1st and foremost, I like the ability to send her virtual flowers and, 2nd, I (we) remain on the forums because of the friends we've made and continue to make, some of which I've no doubt will be life-long.

Soooo... Happy - YES! Succesful - Beyond our wildest dreams!

I never knew that it was possible to be this content in life and love and I owe it all to an exceedingly marvelous little package of exquisite womanhood from East Tennessee!

Okay I am not married, engaged dating or in any way romantically committed to anyone on this or any site. However I have a happy story.I have currently 3 true friends from this site,I have 6 respected aquintances I hope will become friends. Then there are those who I pass in a thread and say hihug to you.Or send a flower cause that person is down. This community is like an extendd family.People we would have never had the pleasure of knowing at all.Skepticis that have helped me to only have more faith in my Lord, people tellimg me business that my own relatives wouldn't.So my story if I never meet the right man is I met friends for life, aquintances for awhile, people who have showed me what real love is,what real hate is,how some wear a mask in profile, but get them in a few hot forums ,watch the change, the mask comes of,same as r/l.I have been educated in history, the cultures of other countrties, politics and more.applause I care for many have met here, pray for some, dislike but love some, and that's all woth sayingbouquet of flowers peace

Thank you!

I've heard it said that all a person really needs to be happy in life is someone to love, something to do and something to hope for.

Well, I've got someone to love and I enjoy doing things for her like building a chicken coop for our delightful little banty chickens and carving vegetable and flower gardens out of the hillside - and I hope like heck that we live for another thousand years or so just because it's so much fun!

So, between a good marriage, plenty of ongoing projects and wishes for a long life, I reckon I'm about as lucky a guy as ever walked the earth!

Just lovely, I have goosbumps reading that.

May I be really nosy and ask who your wife is?

If she is poster on the forums?

I am still quite new here.

Of course I completely understand if you have no wish to answer.

Hi, Thank you so much for dropping in and sharing such fabulous news about how two people can uplift each other so marvellously. Truly inspirational to knwo. That is what I believe relationships are about, and in particular between couples. I wish you both happiness into the beyond....love

My lovely wife is "Jackson." And she does post occasionally, though she's not nearly as prolific (nor as verbose!) as I am.

Oh, great. That's heartening about the internet cafes being everywhere. One place I won't worry about the internet is when I'm soaking up the sun in capri. I have an 'aunt' who lives in this fabulous apartment with marble staircases and huge arched arabic style windows, up the staircases. One of the balconies faces the direction of capri, and on a clear day, you can actually see the island. Can't wait!
