Curious as to why you aren't a fan of Cortizone.....while it doesn't work for everyone, I have been getting them in my low back and knee every couple of years since a boating accident I was in back in 1990. If it is done right, it makes you feel better in minutes and reduces the inflammation of the cartilage.

Well, there's a difference in the medical schools between the continents. Won't get into how and who's better or what...not relevant.

But with the cortisone injection, there is a risk of deterioration of bone and progressive cartilage damage in the affected joint. Bone, ligaments, and tendons can weaken with too frequent steroid treatments applied. It shouldn't be applyed more than 3 times/year....max!

Whenever there’s a better way of treating the cause, instead of the symptoms, I’ll vote for that.
