Some issues or matters u should have discussed ..

Posted: Aug 1, 2008, 12:09 AM CST
Before u said i do .. be it marriage or relationship .. which today you feel might have made a difference if u had discussed or shared ..

Is there anything like that u think u would like to share ...

On the other hand .. what do u think are key things that should be discussed before u make the big decision ..

I think people should disclose all memberships to singles and dating websites.... I mean ... if they still have an account for a match making website..... maybe you should reconsider getting married....

but i'm old fashioned..... I only believe in getting married once....

um, other things that should be discussed..... ones T-cell count, any burning of itching....

everything else is pretty much plain luck

IE, everything should be open for discussion, if not.... become a statistic.

I think usually the things which make a big difference later on are usually the little things .. ..
But some major issues also like ..
* Religion and faith issues.
* Parental interference

hmmm

small things will stay small unless you let them gather in a corner and set a gallon of insecurity next to them.... then boom....

I find it hilarious when I hear about couples getting married after only knowing each other for a few months..... It cracks me up....

I've seen so many people I graduated with get divorces... It's great because I get to say, "I told you so."

happy is a relative condition.

I think most are not happy, just complacent.

Ok, to your question. Things I should have discussed before I got married.

Are you gonna beat me up when you get pissed off?

Are you gonna keep running the bars and effing everything in sight?

Are you gonna give up on life and drown yourself in beer?

confused These are some little things it would have been nice to know ahead of time.

I can't even imaginehug how does that work for you Riya? do you have a choice?? I really am clueless...I think your thread is a good one, I think many times people are so caught up in the moment they do not ask some of these questions which in the long run will have a very strong affect on the relation be it marriage or even a friendship for that matter.
;-}
