Best was my last relationship, which lasted some two years. I was just not smart enough to keep her I guess.

Sometimes we're not! Very good to state that. No matter if you're being ironic, it happens sometimes and people would suffer less if they could admit that!

Some of the best experience over the last 10 years on the internet were falling in love with people I would be talking to for months.

Some of the worst moments on here were also falling in love and getting my heart broken.

One in particular was a man in London I was talking with for nearly a year. We just got on on every level, I fell head over heels. We talked endlessly on the phone. Hours and hours of laughing and bonding, sharing our days. He told me he had fallen in love with me too but the distance would be a problem. I had commitments here and he, there.

He said he never wanted to lose touch with me because I filled his heart, but he had met someone living close to him and decided to live with her because he didn't want to be alone... We both cried and I never wanted to feel that much pain again. It hurt just as much to feel his pain as my own.

We communicated for a long time after that and he asked me to go over to spend time with him, but I couldn't do that to someone who was tryng to have a relationship with someone else. Eventually I stopped answering his mails and phone calls, although it took nearly allthe willpower I had....

I have made some good friends on here, some of which I have been friends with for 8 or more years. We meet from time to time and share stuff in mails, so that side of being on here is a plus.

When we start this online thing, we are always open to love, because that's what we really are looking for. Women normally wouldn't waste time online just to hurt men...unless she is a gold digger in a criminal way...a thief. But as for hurting, just like men do here easily...women don't do that! Please don't come here with your macho pride because it is true.

You may try something with someone and then it just doesn't work out...this is normal. You may find out that after trying, she is not the sweetest she portraited to be...still normal. But scammers? If you're not a gold digger then you are a man! This is a mental problem that unfortunately most of the internet people suffer from.

haven't had a best, yet. Was worse was a woman from another site. She was a felloow karaoke junkie. I thought this was a good thing, WRONG! She kept her face in the book the entire night, did not say one word, did not even look at me.

So, I just got up and left. Later I was talking in one of the forums about bad dates, and I mentioned one that was boring.....she sent me a mail and said "...I hope that wasn't me, you were talking about."

Mine was 4 years. She choose a different path, who am I to try and stop her..

And yes, I would do it again, just not with her. I do not believe in going back.. Been there, done that..

I've had wonderful experiences, I've had nightmare experiences, and I've had ones that are somewhere inbetween. It hasn't changed my outlook on meeting people from the online world, though it has made me more cautious.

I've got both sides. negative and positive. some ppl are nice some are just terrible. but thts how online dating works. u never know wht ur gonna get.

the best on line experience was a date I had with a woman from "that other site". Be was beautiful in appearance and within. I thought the night went extremely well and offered toi shake her hand at the end of the evening, but she kissed me instead. I had such hopes. But she never called me or wrote to me again. And in keeping with my normal behavior, I never called her. I still have her picture on my PC and for a while it was my screen saver. But it was a wonderful date and I don't suspect I will ever have a better internet experience

Nothing but great experiences. One ended up not well, but still a wonderful experience!!

You should have called her ship. Some women won't call or write after the first date. I know its silly, but this is how some of us are. Maybe she had a great time but wasn't getting the same vibe from you. And when you didn't call afterwards she might have figured you were not interested.

My best experience was to be this coming weekend..... it's now my worst.... didn't even hear the starter pistol, nor did I realise that the barn door was open, and there were too many chef's in the kitchen!!!!

Now he is coming up sunday..
