I don't blame you on that point. There's several out there though that will , but you'll have to pay a deposit at most of them anymore. Hope it all works out for you though.

Here's a couple site I can send you too to help you look.

bubbajunk.com

layover.com

classadrivers.com

That's just some I know of off the top of my head. They have a list of companies, and they tell you if they allow pets or not.

But finding a good company also depends on where you want to run at , where you don't want to run . How many miles you want a week , etc.

Once you get a few years exp , then you can look for some smaller companies that are better to run for , and know you as a person instead of a #. I would have a dog with me , but I really don't have much time to try and "truck" train one. Although I know a few of the other company drivers that work here are good at it though. Although I really should get another dog though , that way it makes me stop running occasionally so I have to get out of the truck, instead of always moving rolling on the floor laughing

Yea that's the hard part while just starting out , I'll be honest though. Without much exp right now , your chances of finding a company that will keep you moving pretty good are slim, but once you get 2 - 3 years then your options will start opening up and you'll be able to find a better place.

You probably don't want to run like I do though. Although , I am in the perfect situation for how I run, since I can be home when I need be , but I stay out quiet a bit, since there's not much reason for me to take time off.

Not sure what your looking for wether it's regional , local , or OTR. I knwo I couldn't and wouldn't be happy with anything other than OTR myself, that's why I run out to the west coast and back each week , and I don't go any further east than lexington,ky . Furtherest north I go is Champaign,IL but that's pretty rare.
