My mother is Irish and I have never heard her use that term.

Amazing what other people see of nations.

Austria love the fact that in the UK, they have their own tea and coffee making facilities in bedrooms.

I out them straight, it is because we are lazy bastards and cannot be arsed to bring it ourselves.
