I have been posting for over 2 years and can't really say I have noticed it anymore than what is natural. After all....this IS a dating site even though most of us use it as a form of entertainment. People natural want to see and be seen....

and when I see somebody that strikes me come in....I definitely speak up on the forums a little more than usual to see what kind of sparks may start...can't say it has really worked for me but I think it's a natural thing to do.

Just an observation don't get uppity.

My threads are very far and few between so you don't have to make promises.

My last candidate pretended to be smart and then kept asking me to get down a bit, to be less arrogant, etc!
Another one, i had exchanged mails for over 6 months when i was still in Lisbon. He obviously lied about a lot of stuff. I didn't know i was coming here, i came and he is Dutch, living here! He said "you're too smart...bye"! Vanished!

When a new attractive lady joins CS the guys dive in and puff out their chests? It happened to me when I first joined, fresh meat!!! I haven't noticed this from the female members here BTW.

I observe more than post usually, and I've seen this so many times. I find it highly amusing and it reminds me of something a male friend told me some time ago.

He worked in a predominately male dominated job and there was a work based cafeteria. Every time a woman joined the firm, which was a novelty to these wild beasts of manhood, and went to the cafe, the men used to make silly animal noises. Now I'm talking quite recent here not way back before the laws against sexual discrimination were passed.
