Ah maybe you have! laugh

I was really talking about first time forum posts not private messages or flowers.

Maybe there is some truth to all show, in the public eye, and no action then. laugh

Seem like the guys interested in me have gone down since I started participating in the forums. I guess they all got dragged by the stampeding horses previously mentioned.

Maybe I'm too old fashioned? I already know about the brainy thing. Have been told repeatedly by guys I scare them with my logic and intelligence followed by "It's a compliment really, but I don't want a woman smarter than me, and you understand stuff way over my head its scary."dunno dunno dunno dunno

I think Indy was being....well.....dry sense of humour?

I know what you're saying though. 99% of the contact I receive is from non forum posters too.

I guess that means I don't really 'cut it' here.

I have been posting for over 2 years and can't really say I have noticed it anymore than what is natural. After all....this IS a dating site even though most of us use it as a form of entertainment. People natural want to see and be seen....

and when I see somebody that strikes me come in....I definitely speak up on the forums a little more than usual to see what kind of sparks may start...can't say it has really worked for me but I think it's a natural thing to do.

Yes, you are right, I realize he was being very dry. It doesn't make it any easier when you are faced with it in real life and I really felt it was kind of appropriate to point it out. teddy bear teddy bear teddy bear teddy bear

When a new attractive lady joins CS the guys dive in and puff out their chests? It happened to me when I first joined, fresh meat!!! I haven't noticed this from the female members here BTW.

I observe more than post usually, and I've seen this so many times. I find it highly amusing and it reminds me of something a male friend told me some time ago.

He worked in a predominately male dominated job and there was a work based cafeteria. Every time a woman joined the firm, which was a novelty to these wild beasts of manhood, and went to the cafe, the men used to make silly animal noises. Now I'm talking quite recent here not way back before the laws against sexual discrimination were passed.

Have any of you ladies who have been here a while noticed this?
Oh yes, saw it and experienced it myself, lol! How easily amused these "little boys" are laugh

I met one guy that we became just friends, he said he likes when girls plead him to go over. They keep postponding the trips when they know in advance they are completely stucked for any reason. So, while you hope you guys will eventually meet, you are in love and help him through his sleeping problems while talking on the phone for ages...and then you think if he does that it's because you are so very special!rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Sorry to disappoint some...grin or am i giving ideas to others?D'oh!

cheers
