Anyhow...to answer the question....There wasn't a lifetime of pain....hell I don't even remember his name....it was fun and I have no regrets....As for diseases....I am tested and disease free....protection was used....but how many of us demand test results from somebody before we sleep with them?......you can get a disease from somebody you are dating just as easily as from somebody you just met.

I've had a one-night stand once, discovered it wasn't my thing and decided I didn't feel an urge to try it again, so I haven’t.

But a lifetime of pain? Not really. I don't feel used or bad or sleazy or slutty or depressed. I wanted to have sex with the guy, I was single, I knew it was a one night stand and I knew there was a risk that I would find out it wasn't for me since I had never tried it before.

I'm a grown and independent woman and I see no reason why I should feel ashamed of my actions. I see no reason why anyone should; even if they have one-night stands on a regular basis. It's a private matter and doesn't mean they are slutty or easy, no matter their gender or sexual orientation.

I'm not stupid enough not to insist on using a condom with ANY new partner, until WE BOTH have been tested for diseases. I trust him, but I don't trust his ex or the guys his ex where with before they were together.
I’m a blood donor, so I get tested for illnesses on a regular basis.
