Okkaayy, taking a huge chance here of being chewed up so be gentle it is after all only my humble opinion and own belief, I believe you can cheat in your mind as well as what is listed above...but hey that is just me.

Mind cheat is healthy...smitten ...if you interfere with your man's mind to what that concerns, be a nun.

Cheating in my mind, uh yeah, guilty. Sexual contact no.

If I'm unhappy enough with my partner that I need outside contact, it's time to do something else. I can understand why some do, but even wanting to makes me feel too guilty. If the problems can't be worked out, I just need to move on.

I guess me and luscious are the only 2 on this poll right now lol,

Yes and i felt terrible afterwards....lived and learned...young and dumb and i was also 19

Also 19. I had a girlfriend, and we shared an apartment together. I met another girl that I just couldn't stay away from. I did it several times before I got caught. When I finally did get caught, it was the most guilt ridden, shameful, horrible ordeal, ever. My girlfriend had a nervous breakdown, she quit eating, got dehydrated, and had to go into the hospital. When she got out of the hospital, her parents came over, her friends came over, and I got the stink eye from every one of them, and lectures, slaps across the face. It was awful, awful, awful!!

Thank you.

Then no.

I have male friends that were friends with my ex partner, now we are not togther they are still my friends, but that is all.

I am a great believer in that no person 'owns' another person, but being intimate and having an emotional attachment that could manifest itself into something deeper then that is being unfaithful.

When in a relatinship, whilst I am a sociable person, I would share my deepest thoughts with only my partner, the minute I think I want to tell another person, then I am not being intimate with my partner. Therefore that is being dishonest with my partner.

I made mistakes with my ex partner, in that I withheld information from him, that hurt him, as he did me, but we are over that now and we are still close. But I know that he wishes me nothing other than the best as I do him.

I hear you. thumbs up

Makes me think....
Most times, when people cheat, it starts with nothing but good intentions. When you stop confiding in your partner and seek another's attention, it slowly builds some sort of trust, that substitutes what one shares with their partner. Sealing it with something physical, only culminates to hurt and trouble.

Mainting friendship, while in the relationship, would prevent all the hurt. Friends are open with each other about everything important, even if it means saying 'i am not happy with us'.

The legal definition of the Lectic law library is:

SEXUAL CONTACT - The intentional touching, either directly or through the clothing, of the genitalia, anus, groin, breast, inner thigh, or buttocks of any person with an intent to abuse, humiliate, harass, degrade, or arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person. 18 USC

I agree.

And this is what I said to my ex partner, only last night when he asked where we went wrong.

With our business and all that life brings, we stopped being each others friend.

He went home looking sad, but it is the truth and it saddened me to say it, but I could not take back the words.
