Did you use Chantix? I am knuckling down and kicking the habit...tired of the smell, the cost and the whole not being able to breathe thing....if you did use it, how did it go for you? Just wondering.............................

Well, its my 3rd day on the Chantix so I am taking it slow...trying to "rearrange" my life to avoid all the "smoking traps" I would get myself into, as people above have stated. I'm already down to less then a pack. I live on second floor apt. and leave my smokes out in my Jeep. I have to go downstairs, outside, around this big U sidewalk thing that winds around the building, and then over the parking lot to my Jeep...Might not seem like much, but try doing it on a prosthetic LOL! Oh well...thanks again for all the encouragement and kind words.

hmmm did not use any meds to quite.... slept through withdrawls... while in the cardiac ICU.

Have had no desire to smoke... but I only smoked 5 and when out socially make that 10 a day. Waste of money, would like the cig, go do something, come back and it would be just a pile of ashes. Drink lots of water.... all the time. It helps wash the taste out of your mouth, and helps with the cravings.

good luck to you.!!!

in a School science class four worms were placed into four separate jars.

The first worm was put into a jar of alcohol.
The second worm was put into a jar of cigarette smoke.
The third worm was put into a jar of sperm.
The fourth worm was put into a jar of soil.

After one day, these were the results:
The first worm in alcohol --- dead.
The second worm in cigarette smoke --- dead.
The third worm in sperm --- dead.
The fourth worm in soil --- alive.

So the science teacher asked the class --- "What can you learn from this experiment."

Little Johnny quickly raised his hand and said. "As long as you drink, smoke and have sex, you won't have worms."

Dear uncle i am on the way to get you some smoke...
