Just got home - long recovery

Hello all.

I haven't been here long enough to really make a lot of friends on here yet, but I wanted to let you know where I have been. I was hit by a car last week. It was a minor clip, or so I thought. I didn't go to the hospital or anything then and thought I would just be sore.

But when I got worse, I went to the Dr. who sent me to the hospital. I had 2 blood clots in my leg and fractured my femur at the joint and also fractured my pelvis. I can't believe I walked around for 2 days.

I was in the hospital since Thursday of last week and just got released this morning. I won't be on much because I can't really sit down, but I wanted to let everyone why I dropped off the planet.

Sorry to hear about your accident but look on the bright side. You "may" talk some hot nurse into "helping" you in your recovery..

I know how you feel...... something similar happened to me earlier this year... and it hurt...

Thankfully you are 'okay' ... crumbs! .. I can't believe you were walking around either..

I can empathize, and identify....I just got out of the hospita myself a couple of months ago after suffering a major heart attack. I'm glad you're up and about again my friend
