SPORT
Poland is proud from our Formula 1 driver - Robert Kubica (BMW Sauber team). He was 3rd at the European Grand Prix in Valencia (street race-course).
He still has chance to be a champion in Formula 1.
This is our first driver in Formula 1.
Legia (soccer club from Warsaw) win the match in our champion league. After 3 rounds Legia with 4 points is on the 10th place.
CITY
From 1st september smoking on the bus shelter will be prohibited in Warsaw.

Some news for good begining. Maybe next time I will find something more interesting. :)

SPORT

Polish football club Wisla Cracow won game with FC Barcelona 1:0 .
This is great sucess for them and I'm also happy in spite of this is club from other city. Animosity between clubs fans is very strong here. But I don't care and I always support all Polish teams.

Wisla Krakow didn't qualifyied to Champions League. They lost in Barcelona 4:0.

POLITICS

Today in Warsaw will be mass demonstration of our famous trade unions "Solidarnosc" - the memeber of it was Lech Walesa, and they fought against communism.
About 30 000 people will march through my city.
I work in the center of Warsaw and I hear now whistles and tubes.
The streets are congested so if you will visit Warsaw you shouldn't drive to the center. :)

CRIME

Polish police sweep on a illegal hatchery of flies.
Crime group have raised larvas of flies at the putrid meat. They have sold them to fishermen.
Police got information from neighbors who complain to stink.
That was big deal! Bag with 50 larvas costs in shop about 2 Polish zloty - almost 1 $.
Stinky work, isn't it?

Disgraced politician withdraws from Parliament
The political career of one of Norway’s rare MPs from an ethnic minority remained in jeopardy Friday, after she was caught running up huge phone bills by calling clairvoyants for advice, also on political matters.

Saera Khan, who went on sick leave after admitting to the reason for her high phone bills, withdrew her name late Thursday from her party's list of candidates for the Parliament next year, and from other duties. That means she won't seek re-election.

She should ask for her money back as the clairvyants didn't warn her that this was going to happen.
