A carpet muncher is an extremely small but veracious mite that has somehow traveled all of the way from the UK to the USA.
These little creatures usually don't like the smell of a dirty carpet, so your carpet is safe until you decide to shampoo it,
but once you shampoo it and it is moist and smelling good,

Most of these creatures have very big teeth,and a long tongue, many of them make a constant clicking noise because of a metal rod placed thru their tongue .
when they come in contact with a human body,, (unlike a tick) only parts of the munchers body swells to the point of popping.

many people say that these creatures are extremely cute and love to have them around, the best way to keep them in your home and happy is to keep your carpet shaved very short.

most people can tell when you have a carpet muncher in your home by the constant euphoric look of ecstasy on your face caused by the bite of a muncher.

a carpet muncher is that person, usually found in the dumpsters behind carpet warehouses, feasting on the days spoils. These are a deperate lot, becaus they don't stop to read labels on the items they are consuming. These sorry people fail to read warnings that products like "Stainmaster", when consumed, causes the body to reject fluids. Any water consumed to help wash down the carpet, is repeled. These poor people are frequently found within feet of a retention pond that has been block off for security reasons. They usually die from dehydration.
