I even told him one day, "I sure wish you'd stop that!" With a blank look he said, "Stop what?" I said all that inhaling and exhaling, inhaling and exhaling... It drives me nuts!" He stared at me for about 10 seconds and I cracked the barest hint of a smile. He said, "Aren't you supposed to be annoying somebody else right now?"

For a 39 year old "kid" he's great boss and a pretty darn good sport!

From the worker ant perspective what advice would you give to your boss?

I have 3 bosses and nothing any of them do drives me nuts. I work with highly trained professionals, ya see!!

my bosses are great...they don't get in the way most of the time, they pay me to do a job and i am responsible for that job. As long as i get my job done and on time they are happy if not i hear about it but i would expect nothing less.

i work in a nursing home.
and our DON [director of nursing]
has no compassion or sense of emotion with the residents.
when the resident is put in a home...
chances are we are the only family they are going to have.
and we need to let them know they are cared about.
but i dont think she really does care.
i think shes doing it just for the money.
and if thats what her deal is, she is just in the wrong profession.

You are a better person that I am, cuz i would have told DON to take my job and stick it....i would not work for someone like that....Hats off to you for doing your job...
