I know it's not "proper" to use caps. But for the life of me, I can't see what difference it makes. Not trying to be argumentive, I have always wondered at this. I think people who use red type are annoying, however, that is their choice.What difference can it possibly make what size letters or type letters they choose?
It kind of reminds me of an annoying habit many of us were taught, growing up. That is to place one hand in your lap while at the dinner table. WHY (intended)??. What purpose does it serve?? I finally lost it once in a casino, when I noticed a table next to me with all three older women having dinner while one hand was in their lap. Iasked them what they were doing with their hand in their lap and then asked if it felt good!!
My point being, it seems pretty trivial, the emphasis people put on using caps or not using them
