god my head is fried ,ok im on-line to interflora as we type .the flowers idea from my girls and me was a good idea ,il have them sent to the hospital with a card from us .

First off.... you are in no way, shape or form responsible for this in any way. You had no way of knowing what his medical history might be or anything else.

If anyone should be taking any sort of blame... who hired you? They knew the person involved and any background information. Chances are this is all just coincidence, but even if it´s not, no blame attached to you or any of the other girls, you were doing what you get paid to do.

Completely depends on the severity of his stroke/s.. and how it has left him now.

It depends on how bad the scarring is to the Brain!

My mother had a stroke 2 years ago.. apparently in the worst possible area of the Brain... she was home after four days, she was able to talk and walk... you would never have known... I drove six hours after my sister called me... we expected the worst..

However my Grandmother is still in a Coma from a stoke after 8 years.... her heart is too strong.... she is not on life support... she just sleeps

Like I mentioned to you earlier... don't make this personal... do the right thing send flowers... and leave it at that...

It goe's to show that you are a very kind and considerate and caring person.

I know by tommorrow il be fine and the head will be clear .


His 2 sons hired me ,although i know it was a friends idea (as i did his retirement party last month) still feels wrong tho ,all i hope is its not serious .

Thats right.. there are a few different types of strokes too..

I've looked after people that had a could of little ones in the morning..

are every so slightly slurred and a TEENY bit confused for a few hours.. and almost back to normal again later that day.

Then others who will have a full on WHAMMY of a stroke... and lose the ability (sometimes temporary) of speech.. the use of one side of their body.. bowel/urine incontinence.. staring into space. No idea who's who. Can't walk.. dress.. feed.. anything.

Some make a slow but gradual recovery.. some never improve much.

But thats minor to extreme.. and everywhere in between..

really.. it just depends on what kind of stroke he had and the severity of it.

Sadly this poor guy had a double stroke.... that means the possibility of two different scar's to his Brain..

Your point about it being pre-defined is spot on... it's already there and it can happen at anytime

Causes that can trigger a stroke are... high blood pressure, bad diet, stress etc etc

Getting a 'Wedgy' is probably not the cause

I would like to wish him a speedy recovery
