Maybe a man who's approaching a woman may not know exactly what to say.

Maybe he doesn't know how to express himself in words.

I tend to give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

Sometimes when I'm writing to a guy I sometimes trip over my tongue and can't figure out what to say even when it's sending an answer back to them.

When I send a flower and say hi, it represents the usual masculine effort of making the first move. Just like at a bar, etc. The female (most) expect the man to make the first move [valiant; prince charming; bold...whatever]. Just like how there are risks of making the first move at a bar, etc., there are risks to sending a flower on the part of a male.

Most men will say that for every wife they get, they probably spoke to 100 females. A flower does the same thing. Not every woman who gets a flower will respond, but hey, I have never received a flower from a woman I did not flower first. Of course, the real e-mails, etc. will come after the initial contact.

You can just ignore the flower if you don't want to talk to the guy. grin comfort

with all due respect...most of us will click on the sender's profile if we find their picture attractive or interesting enough, regardless of how short the flower note was, and make an ad-hoc decision whether we want to answer or not

nomindgames: why does he put "love to hear from you","your profile is great" or"Tell me about you"?Why not write and say whatever in a letter. Is it me or what?I dislike those flowers.Write me don' say you wanna hear from me.Put effort from your side.Opinions please.

for some people it's hard to speak to the opposite sex. the flowers are for those people a easy way to attempt to start a conversation. if you just hate flowers you could put don't send me no damn flowers. that should solve the problem eh?
