The Giants look sharp so far. Redskins went 3 and out. Eli Manning is looking good as well as the Giants offense and defense so far....

Yes, I am an NFL junkie.

I'm watching the game right now and I am so pumped that football has started.

I can't wait till Sunday.

I''ll put up my picks and insights later....yours are welcome. And a preemptive shut the fuck up to any silly Euro dudes who say this is not real fotbolfootball. I want tolerate that nonsense in this thread...lol

I'm really excited, too, T. Though, admittedly, it's been awhile since I rigorously followed football. Still, I'm really looking forward to watching Joe Montana kick some ass with the 49ers! here's to you

The Americans invented the bumper sticker.

The English invented rugby.

I saw somethng once that combined the two.A bumper sticker that read "Give blood....Play Rugby"

I enjoyed tonight's game. The Giants played very well on defense and pressured Cambell pretty good throughout the game.

Eli Manning looked awesome in the first half, but in the second half he was very inaccurate and looked like the old inconsistent Eli.
Brandon Jacobs ran the ball very well and the dude is not easy to bring down.

The Redskins played better on defense in the second half, but a lot of that was cause Eli played so bad in the second half.
I think Jason Cambell looked uncomfortable with the new west coast offense that Jim Zorn is running. Then again, he was pressured all night. The Redskins did not do much on the ground. The Redskins do not have the look of a contender this year...so far of course. Their run defense has some serious holes.

Either way, I made a little money on tonight's game...Yeah, I like to wager on football and baseball.

It looks like the NFC East is going to go down to the wire. It's a very good conference. Dallas, Philly, and New York are going to be in some serious battles this year. I'm really curious to see how Dallas is going to do this year. All those expectations and pressure on them. I just hope Romo has his head straight for a full season. Philly will contend if McNabb can stay healthy all year.

I'm thinking the Dallas-Browns game is going to be a good one. I can't wait to see the Vikings-Packers game. I think Aaron Rogers is a good QB from what I have seen. I am not sold on Tarvaris Jackson. Adrian Peterson is one of the best running backs I have seen in my lifetime. He is awesome to watch...all that power, speed, and natural cutback instincts. The dude is one awesome athlete....you find that in soccer or rugby...lol

Tampa and New Orleans sounds bonerish as well. That game would not surprise me if it comes down to a field goal.

Jacksonville at Tennessee is another great matchup. I think the Titans will pull off the upset at home. They match up well with the Jaguars style of power football.

San Francisco will be interesting to watch with Mike Martz running that offense, but I just don't see them getting into sync yet, plus Arizona might finally be ready to get to the playoffs with all that talent.

The main thing for sunday, I just wanna see the Raiders beat the Broncos. That is all I ask for.

Football!!!!!

All I know is I am 1-0 in my pool!!!

I wish I had a team. I grew up a Baltimore Colts fan. I lived in the same neighborhood as John Mackey, Johnny Unitas, and Don Shula.

They use to play with the neighborhood kids on Saturdays at a field right down the street from my house. Then I use to go to Goucher College (almost behind my house) and watch their training camp.

When they moved to Indy, what heartbreak!!! Then the Ravens came to Baltimore, but they were moved from Cleveland, so I felt uncomfortable rooting for them. I do cheer them on, but it doesn't feel the same as those glory days of the Colts...
