This was not the worst thing that happened to me by a date, but one of the worst things that happened while on a date. Also ONE of the reasons I quit drinking. I was out with a girl that I had a crush on in school, and finally got the courage to ask out. We went to dinner and a show, everything was going great, so we figure what the hell let's go to the bar. Well we were only there a few hours when trouble found me. I had to go to the bathroom really bad, and when I went in to the john there was a line up. My back teeth were floating, so I go out the back door and "water the flowers". I heard some guy hassling me, and without turning off the hose turned around to see what this guys problem was. Apparently cops don't like being watered as much as the flowers did, and I got to spend the rest of the night in the drunk tank. To this day she still won't talk to me. Go figure.

I met this guy off the internet. We agreed to meet about an hour from me. I drove to him and when I get to the Starbucks to meet him, he tells me I look better than he thought I would, then asked if I wanted something to drink and when I said yes, he pointed and said go order over there! I mean I don't expect the guy to always pay but when I drove an hour to where he lives to meet him, the least he could do was buy me a drink. Then as we are going out of Starbucks, he stops and licks my neck and tells me what a sexy neck I have!!!!!! Bye Bye

While I was at the Coast Guard air station for aviation machinist school in Elizabeth City NC, I met a girl one night at the enlisted mens club and asked her out. I took her to a movie and then we stopped someplace secluded. Just as things were getting hot, she tells me she's only 16. I zipped and drove her home. That was uh oh number 1.
Uh oh number 2, I found out a few days later that her father was the commanding officer of the air station. Luckily he never found out.

A made the age old mistake of going on a totally blind date with someone. I went thru the motions - dinner and (thankfully) a movie (so I didn't have to talk to her) - and happily took her home, knowing I'd never have to see her again. Then next evening I was having a few beers at my neighbor's place, she looked out the window and asked me who's car was in my driveway. My blind date turned into a stalker. She sat there, IN HER CAR, for 6 HOURS. I didn't leave my neigbor's til 2am. The blind date called my house and left messages for me everyday for a month. That was a decade ago, and it still freaks me out.

I've been married and dated since the BDS (blind date stalker), but if all post dates turned out like that, I'd enter the priesthood, atheist or not.

My worst date... my first.

FIFTEEN YEARS OLD I was dating this 19 year old goth chick. Why I didn't figure out that she had problems right off the bat, I don't know, but at that age you don't question a girl who looks like betty page wanting to do you everywhere at all points in time.

So, bearing in mind that I'm in high school at the time, and late for dress rehearsal for the school play...

We hang out at the park for a minute down the street from the school... first time we'd hung out.
One thing led to another.
And ten minutes into us going at it like rabbits, a little league game starts not fifty yards away.
The parents didn't appreciate that.
So the cops show up just as we get done, we BOTH wind up accidentally flashing EVERYONE at the game and driving by on the street, we're arrested...

And THAT'S when I found out that her father was lieutenant in the first district... where we got arrested.

Yeah.

That didn't go REAL well.

;)
