Hi Claire

An Ex once told me he saw my stretch marks as beautiful ! as they showed that I was a real woman

Oh I agree really.. but in some cases (like mine).. it is waaaayy too much 'woman' .. LOL

Helloo Di wave hug

It did freak me out once.. I asked something about stretch marks on here.
and one of the men (who as since left.. and turned out to be a PRICK anyway).. giggle

Said he thought they were revolting and would never want to date a woman with them..

That gave me a complex for a while..

I dated a man who had been in a chemical explosion as a teenager... the skin on his legs was from skin grafts taken from his back... about 60 percent of his body was scar tissue. He also had a scar that ran from the top of his ear along his jawline to the other side of his chin about 2 inches wide.

He always carried himself with so much confidence and assurance, I found him really sexy and attractive.

I have a scar on my knee. More accurately I have what is left of my knee being held together by a scar.

To jolly things up a bit I have the words Aiei! (french) Ouch! (english) Au! (dutch) Aay! (spanish) tattooed around the knee in a circle, all the work being done in the country of the language involved.Paris,Gibraltar,Eindhoven and Barcelona in fact.

The last time I was in hospital for yet another leg breaking session (three times so far) I joked with the surgeon that I didn´t want to come round and find he had re-arranged the letters to form an obscene word whilst I was under the knife (saw, actually) laugh

Some tattooists (the really talented ones) do amazing "cover up" work on scars to render them practically invisible, ladies.

motorcycle <-------- reason for scarring in first place.

No Claire, apart from the odd bit of 'gritstone rash' and
pulled tendons, never had a climbing injury.

or would you rather not discuss it?

I have wondered about that myself...I have shrapnel wounds all over my arms and stuff...of course the leg is gone, and the scar at the bottom of my stump, oops: residual limb (gotta be politically correct here...don't wanna offend myself)!! Well..that is kinda weird looking and I worry about that....

Guess I'll have to find someone who *likes* scars?

I´m up for what ever you think I´m fit enough to handle.

So I´ll let you in on a couple problem areas.... My right knee locks up on occasion (4 knee surgeries) And while my arms are fairly strong my hands have a bit of arthritis and have very little strength in them.

On a fairly level surface I can walk for hours, but assertive walking up an incline usually brings on an asthma attack, although I´m fine if I take it slow. I´m pretty good scrambling around rocky areas... I love tide pooling and haven´t fallen in.... yet! laugh

I always had a fear of heights but have forced myself to do things to combat that... so while I´m still a bit frightened it´s more an adreniline rush then incapacatating fear.

Well now you know it all................. still up for the challenge?grin

Oh yeah and that whole center of gravity thing...laugh laugh laugh
