Dear All,
I have been on this site for about 10 days now. my photo has rated very low and I really want to know what women look for in a photo. I am not deformed, do not have boils and i always wear clean socks and underwear!!!!hahahaha .......I do not think I am a
9-10 but do believe I am somewhere between a 7-8......do others feel this way also? feedback please

I don't judge photos. I look at how someone conducts themselves in the forums.

I am oblivious to the ratings on my photo, and completely forgot to turn them off. But if you are concerned you have to realize that everyone is attracted to something different. If you look to see on the ratings page you can check who liked the photo, if they voted 8, 9, or 10 (I think) they will be listed there for your perusal. Again it is a fairly generalized thing as they often have never looked at your profile and only saw you when they were cruising through endless reams of pictures. I would imagine that like taste and smell, after a few dozen flavours or scents they get a blandness that does not allow them to experience the wholeness of the image.
Personally I know who I am ad do not seek any sort of approval from others for my appearance of all things. I also do not rate photos either as it seems shallow to me. I prefer a woman's mind far more than the vehicle she drives about life in. I am also not looking for anyone so I guess that does make me a bit jaded.

good comment...and i do judge myself more harshly than others ever would....i don't have a companion and it seems a little useless sometimes to even be here if women find my appearance so unacceptable......after all the photo is what attracts people to read the profile.....my ego has just taken a hit here recently.

good answer! you are a good looking young guy though. i wouldn't think you would have this issue....me i'm a little older with a few extra pounds......

I don't rate photo's either, learn about a person form here gives a good insight , seriously ignore it.

I also do not have a companion. I do not feel that circumstances in my life are appropriate to share with someone else at this point. I am happy being me and finding the parts I have lost over the years. It would seem unfair to a woman to offer her half of what I should be and expect any more from her in return. I believe that it is not 50/50 but 100/100 in a committment and as I can not offer that I do not wish to burden any lovely woman with my own hollowness.

The people who rate photos are the superficial ones who only care about looks anyway. The rest of us judge you by your personality.

I think in the grander scheme of things, its neither here nor there really...?? That said, I had disabled the comments but, in error, missed one. One time recently, when I was feeling a little low, I noticed some cheery comments that lifted my spirits, so I enabled them all..... since then, nothing!!!

Haa haa.... just another of life's little ironies??!!

ros....yeah i know this feeling....it is neither here nor there but those nice comments and ratings can give us a little boost in our day....
for me anyway it's just part of my human condition and feelings...
