shipoker58: depends on how long i've known the person and what our interests are ........and if it's a "friends only" date or a date to "see where this goes"but if you can surprise me with something different than dinner and a movie, your a step ahead of the game i like someone who can actually plan a date............not show up and say ok what do you want to do............if you took the time to ask me out, take the time to show me your interested in letting me know who you are by planning something!(jmo of course!)[/ quote]
Again, it's a matter of damned if I do...damned if I don't.
Some women would take offense at a man making all the plans without consulting her. I thought they didn't want to be herded about! Isn't it better to get together and plan things??
ah ship here's where that weird funky thing about women comes in...............note i said that was my opinion! yes planning things together is great.......but on a first date or even a fiftieth, it's nice if he has it planned and it's something out of the "norm" that shows me a side of him that i may not have seen yet......that's how i learn about someone.
