Don´t think your life is pathetic, at least not so out of the normal stuff... just think of how many special ones turn out to be freaking arseholes.
I think the key is not to feel self-pity and stop sounding pathetic. That is my humble opinion.
There are also many ways to be happy and love is not precisely the safest path.

You are soooo right... you have no idea! My life is sooo complicated! The #1 & #2 men on my list both called me last night & I was babysitting my grandson!! Talk about WEIRD!! But in a way, I'm glad I wasn't available. I'm tired of being "too available"... for ALL the srewed up men I've encountered!!
