Let's get that straight.

The couple divorced in 1997, and in 1998 Michael Huffington disclosed his bisexuality. A 1999 magazine article claimed that Arianna Huffington "entered the marriage... with full knowledge of Michael Huffington's sexual interests in men".The financial terms of their divorce agreement remain undisclosed, but Huffington gained most of her wealth from her husband. Arianna Huffington chose to retain her former husband's surname, although she had been known as Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington during the period of her marriage. WIKI

This is why soem americans really truely looking Up to Sarah Palin!

"Cheat your own country and try your best not paying your taxes and still..... Call your self a true american and a patriot and a symbol of purity and Real american values" ... that is exactly what many endorsers of McCain and Palin would say if they were really allowed to talk honestly and with out being forced to censur them selves.

Read this one and enjoy it:

the McCain campaign put out the last two years of Sarah Palin's tax returns late Friday afternoon.

The information contained a few interesting revelations in what was, otherwise, a fairly mundane filing. Palin, it appears, did not pay taxes on the more than $60,000 of travel reimbursements that she and her family members reportedly billed the state during her 18 months as governor. There is a fairly wonky debate over whether she should have been charged for these trips or whether it was accounted for in her salary. John Bogdanski, a tax professor at the Lewis and Clark Law School, told the Huffington Post's Seth Colter Walls that they did qualify as taxable income.

It does not appear that such deductions would have been allowable for any amounts attributable to travel by her husband and children. Section 274(m)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code strictly forbids deductions for bringing spouses and dependents along on business travel unless the spouses and dependents (a) are employees of the taxpayer (here, the taxpayer is the governor), (b) are traveling for a bona fide business purpose, and (c) would otherwise be entitled to deduct the travel on their own tax returns. Unless Palin's spouse and kids are also her employees and she can show that they were away on their own businesses, their expenses would not be deductible by the governor. And therefore she cannot exclude from income any per diems attributable to any of them. (By the way, since she's the employee, the income would be required to be reported on her own return, not her kids'.)

Overall, the Palins reported a gross income of $127,869 in 2006, and paid taxes amounting to $11,944 (an effective rate of 9.3 percent). In 2007, the family reported earning a gross income of $166,080 ($107,987.00 of which came from Gov. Palin) and paid taxes totaling $24,738, for a rate of 14.9 percent.

But there is some discrepancy with the latter number. According to an accompanying 2007 personal financial disclosure report, Palin's "income" as governor of Alaska was $196,531.50, well above the $107,987.00 that was noted on her W2 form from that same year. An email was sent to the McCain campaign for clarification. And this story will be updated should aides reply.

Palin's personal financial disclosure form also showed a moderate amount of assets. The family has ownership or interest in several properties, including tracts on several Alaska fishing spots. And Todd made between $50,000 and $100,000 from British Petroleum's retirement plan.

In typical news-dump fashion, the McCain campaign put out the last two years of Sarah Palin's tax returns late Friday afternoon. The information contained a few interesting revelations in what was, o...

I think the big question is; Why won't Obama open any of his records about his past to the media??? Colllege, community organizer and even his medical records?

Two can play the conspriracy theory game Dude.

How do you like this one.

Obama needs a economic crisis to help in him the Presidential race.

Obama has connections to Fannie top leadership. He hired one for
a campagin manager.

Obama has ties to men like Resyko, that need Fannie and Freddie
loan and insurance to run thier sum lord operations.

DEM Franks is the oversight committee of the House of REP that watches the Fannies. We know how good a job he did. Two week prior to thier failure.....he was saying...'they are not such a good nivestment now, they they will get straighten around and be fine'.

100s brought stock on that advise that the Fannies situation would improve. And lost it.

Franks does nothing with the regulation oversight that he does have to get the Fannies to improve. He could have said they need a gov't
credit line/ loan or bridge capitol program to wash out thier bad
paper. In stead let he lets the bad paper into the financial world
of Leahman Bro and Merrill Lynch, This thing spreads into our banking
system and gives us the situation we have today.

Franks allows a commission program at the Fannie/Freddies that encourages writing bad paper. Did not matter the quality of the paper that was written......it got a commission.

Back to Obama/CountryWide/Resyko now. Note I added in Countywide loans into the picture. They are all to DEMs.

See DEM on the outside of power for the last 8 years, needed a mean to keep funds flowing into their party. A great ways to do that is via
ties with Real Esstate and Mortage firms. So firms like Countrywide are setting up special programs for low interest loans to them.

Each big city DEM has guys like Resyko, that needs funds and insurance from the Fannie and Freddie....and lending from the
Countrywides. The Fannies provide money to the Countrywide and
oversee their business and insure it. Having DEMs in your pocket
to smooth this is imporant to them.

In the old day....this was called a 'point man' in Washington for you.
He was your go to guy, when you need some approval. DEMs are
becoming point men for the Resyko of the world. That are in turn making big donations to party and campaign.

But it is 2008, and a Presidential year. Obama becomes the DEM standard bear. They need that economic crisis and they need to
keep a complete vetting of the unknown Barak Obama from being done. Hence the collapse of the Fannie and Freddie, Franks staying
quiet on the situation and not asking for relief earlier, and with the
FBI investigations.......the files of the Fannie/Freddies are sealed
and no public disclosures on Obama/Resyko relationship can be made.

Only guess what?

It went wrong.

The FBI did not seal ALL the Fannie files.

Looks like Obama flipped once again.

Just got a flyer on his Medical program.

Instead of National Health Care.....now it is keep your DR. and present plan.

Earlier he and Biden were for National Health Care. I can dig you site if you need it.

So?

He has flipped to where McCain is. After getting low income and single mom's to support him on the idea of the National Health Care....he now
dumps them to a moderate position. He is quiet a fellow, this Barak Obama.

The flyer also attack McCain health care plan. The $5K tax credits to let a family buy a plan.

That it result in a tax on the medical service provided of $3.6 trillion dollars.

According to Blue Shield and Blue Cross......our total cost for medical service in 2007-8 was approaching $2.3 trillion.

If Obama camp and Florida DNC (flyer printed by the later) is right, then McCain medical tax 150% the annual total cost of our health care.

Can any one say spin here.

Does McCain want a tax on medical services? Sure. When you go to a DR office and have a check up, the DR is providing a service. The Doctor is also a small business man. Most services are taxable income in the country.

Obama now instead of providing full national health care.....is going to take on insurance companies and reduce costs with preventive care and save the typical family up to $2500 per year.

Preventive care is like brushing your teeth. Obama is going to give us all toth brush and some tooth paste....say that is our health care plan.
It will be cheap tooth paste and a cheap toothbrush.....at $2500 per family.

He is going to cut 'cost without creating government-run health care.'
Adiodos to the National Health Care Program that he used to defeat
Hillary with. He is saying anything to get into office.

So? Where do you get the money to buy your insurance plan with Obama plan?
With McCain you will have $5k in tax credits to buy your plan.
The later is a better deal.jmo

StressFree: I'm just curious to listen to your take on this. In what ways would more government make more problems? I am all for it as far as regulating but certainly not controlling. Some kind of balance or referee to watch over certain sectors and institutions...

I mean, look at the mess we are in now?

We'll see what happens...Especially with this bailout or rescue plan, but creating more money might delay the inevitable doom for some well-connected banks on Wall Street, and it may be in a few months we will find ourselves right back in this same situation, but much poorer. We are already nearly 10 trillion in debt. Now nearly 1 trillion more is somehow gonna magically appear and solve our problems...just maybe that the entire premise of the bailout plan...that it will unfreeze frozen credit markets is false.

At least the tech sector is kinda safe to this disaster. Personally, the only way our economy (global) can make a comeback and run away with it ( another boom cycle) is if a new sector (green/eco) explodes. There is no room to grow any more, especially on a ridiculous debt structured economy. And it's time to bring the jobs back to America...and a little Socialism won't hurt us.

Exactly!

the most sad for all these Bushney admires is....... the Bushney,s way of thinking economy always sucks and ends to no where and every single time they meet a thick wall and cant possibly etting over it......... they add a good old socilaism in it and by that they save some thing back again!

A mix of socilism and capitalism is always baes and the Bushney,s know it as well...... they are just too short sitet to admit it wink

OBAMA AND HIS FRIEND BILL AYRES

Bill Ayres spent the 1970s as a fugitive from justice, as a member of the Weather Underground, after the domestic terrorist group, preparing to attack an Army base, accidentally exploded a Greenwich Village townhouse killing three of their own members. Ayres later married feather Weather Underground member Bernardine Dohrn, then on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List.

''I don't regret setting bombs,'' Ayres told the New York Times in 2001 upon publication of his memoir about that era, "Fugitive Days." ''I feel we didn't do enough.''

As celebrated members of the Chicago liberal world, Ayres and Obama have some connections.

They served on a board together when Obama was a state senator. Ayres donated $200 to Obama's campaign in 2001. They sat on a panel together in 2002 called "Intellectuals in Times of Crisis." Obama went to Ayres and Dohrn's home in 1995 to be introduced to some of the more influential liberals in the area by the state senator he was preparing to succeed, Alice Palmer.

(Palmer, who changed her mind about not running for reelection for her state senate seat after being defeated in a US House race, was later unable to get on the ballot because Obama challenged her petitions to do so, in some hardball Chicago-style politics, a whole other interesting story.)

WhatUwish4 Jacksonville, Florida USA
"Bill Ayers lives in his neighborhood. Their kids attend the same school," Obama senior strategist David Axelrod told the Politico. "They're certainly friendly, they know each other, as anyone whose kids go to school together." (Ayres' kids are actually much older than Obama's but Dohrn is still active at the school.)

"We can relitiigate again and again these 40-year-old battles," Axelrod said. "He thinks what was done then was wrong and outrageous, and he believes that you can’t defend the indefensible – but he’s looking forward, he’s not looking back."

"Senator Obama strongly condemns the violent actions of the Weathermen group, as he does all acts of violence," Obama spokesman Bill Burton told the New York Sun when asked about the connection. "But he was an eight-year-old child when Ayers and the Weathermen were active, and any attempt to connect Obama with events of almost 40 years ago is ridiculous."

Is that enough for you? Perhaps it is. Perhaps you think this is all a silly political smear.

WhatUwish4: I think the biggest concern here Stress is that the government does such a poor job of everything it takes over. It's too big now and too inefficient...and too corrupt. The feeling is that it ruins everything it touches. JMHO
