Sparky55: You're not doing anyone any favors by allowing them to borrow beyond their means. The problem is these institutions (several) are working with lending institutions, bolstered by our political leadership and giving people more money than they can afford. Additionally, they're subsidizing these bad loans with government funding. The end result is the tax payer is getting it in the shorts twice. First by subsidizing the programs to start and then again by bailing out the organizations failing because they loaned money that could not possibly be paid back and then sold those mortgages to other investment companies.
Seems to me there was a time when one bought and lived on what they could afford. I am by no means wealthy but I am smart enough to know what my financial limits are and disciplined enough to live within my means.
It's fine to offer a hand to help others but I'll be damned if I will stand around while they try to chew my arm off which is indeed the result of this latest finacial clusterF@ck. And before you say it, this is the fault of all (Dems, Reps, Voters and nonvoters). We allowed ourselves to be screwed like this and now we have to face up to and solve the problem
The ones mostly responsible in this mass is the current administration in the White House and their Stupied war in Iraq and the rest of their way of fighting agaisnt terror Sparkey. Such thing would never ever happen if the current american government was not on power at all! Have you already forgot how massively the same Bushney,s encouredged americans to take a loan buying a house and making a loan on their houses and making a party out of the whole thing and told american people not to be worried at all because things will be all right and the prices will keep rising and rising?
