but we humans have a tendency to automatically dismiss others' ideas as nonsense when they don't match ours.

So,this is how everything on CS gets blown out of proportion...never said he was bad about not believing the same...just trying to get the man to express his beliefs. I don't care if he agrees with me or not,just stand up for WHATEVER it is you believe...JEEZ!! I guess he is just and inconsistent Atheist.

We understand that people fear what they don't understand or what isn't in the general concensus of most.. but must you personally attack him? Even if he personally attacked you, does it make it any better to do the same? He has produced many logical thoughts and posts that greatly contribute to the forums. He's one that's also quite open-minded in nature. I will not dispute that some of the comments made aren't at all inflammatory, all it takes is a bit of a thought collision or mis-wording for that to occur.

We're all entitled to our opinions. If you call Dom an idiot or non-sensical, he'll just have to live with it. I won't stoop to calling names; I will disagree with you though. :p

I don't apologize,I never called him a name...he said he was an Atheist..not me. I was just posting opinions just like everyone else on this thread. If your going to start a argumentative thread then expect arguments...The war in Iraq and Iran is affecting hundreds of thousands of lives...so don't be surprized if the subject gets a little personal. I am the one who was defending Dominoes in the other threads,so don't say I'm attacking the man. He has his beliefs and I respect them...if we all had the same views the CS Forum would be a pretty damn boring place to visit. If your on the net expect to be disagreed with. the hatred factor of the middle eastern region is /has been a constant. So many countries are/ have developed (peaceful) nuclear power. the intelligence that has been coming in has not been that acurate example Iraq. my point is those othr countries that have (peaceful) nuclear how do we know thats all they have??? ths reminds me of the rich kid when I was young he had the only baseball and guess what he basically was in charge of how when and where the game was played ..not to mention how he picked the teams....

The personal attacks are wrong. Period. I am not trying to attack, just make my point here in defense of a friend. On that note I will continue.

Sorry, this is an attack. Plain and simple. Perhaps by bringing it to a post all in itself may be seen as an attack too, but again, it's not intended to be. This is why I avoided this thread, but was asked to please see if it was being read and interpreted correctly or if perhaps there was something someone was missing...

I don't like people who attack others with the attitude of superiority. If I get banned for this so be it. Was fun. I simply don't stand back and watch my friends get attacked like this. And it's not because of any "clique" or anything, it is because he is a person who did NOT deserve this and I've seen these attacks more than once so I simply avoid posts that he has started or posted on when I can. When the "player" issue was up I stayed out of it simply because #1 I don't know the people involved very well and #2 it was an isolated incident from my understanding and done in private besides if I remember correctly. Yes it got me mad too but for those reasons I stayed out of it. This one however, I have seen attacks in more than just this thread.

I am sure you all know, from the short time that I have been here, that I am a very careing, passionate person (get your mind out of the gutter Iam LOL). If I feel something, it's no grey area for me. Either I do or I don't. Period. I do my level best to not allow my feelings to cloud posts I make such as this one, this is why I have been re-writing it for over an hour already. Once I hit submit, that is it so it WILL be exactly what I want to say. Hopefully it will be understood for what it is, not missunderstood to be something it's not. This is just me, take it or leave it.
