Not yet, but Iran has already threatened to make Israel glow in the dark and they're working on implementation now. North Korea is doing test firings of ICBM-like devices, and we know they have the nuke warhead. They wouldn't just be doing tests if they didn't feel it'd be useful at some point in the future.. short or long-term.

I'm not saying that it'll be immediate, I just feel those are two that can't be overlooked and that we need to keep a very close eye on... multiple nukes screaming through the sky to various targets 1000's of miles away wouldn't be anyone's idea of a fun time.

pretty soon everyone in the alley fight of world diplomacy will have a bat.

I have not ventured any real thought on this, was asked and was dumbfounded by it.." What if everyone had the "NUKE" technology to hit any other country....who would then be the real super power of the world then??

I mean to say if it was possibl, that guy in chinese tenenemn square was alive I would say "here, we feel your pain " . any country that has an editorail praising our government, give them a couple Nukes and say "no strings just thanks for support our troops...just don't shoot your eye out or shoot your foot off

Who wasn't terrified of the USSR having nukes? Who did they use them on? Were they any less scary then the boogie men now.

What about China? Were we all thinking that China getting nukes would be a good thing?

Pakistan? Talk about unstable! India???

The only nation to ever USE nukes is the USA. No other country would do it because they know what the retaliation would be. It would be absolute devastation.

I mean let's put on our thinking caps for a moment. Iran in the next 5-10 years actually create nukes. (Yep that would be the earliest time frame.) Then they decide to do what? Nuke Israel. If they spit on Israel, Israel will wipe them out.

Nuke the US. Korea has nukes and still don't have missiles that can hit DC.

In fact if they ever did I think the US would use it as an excuse to nuke half the planet. (The non-christian half).

Remember. Bush outlined his plans a few years ago. He called it the Axis of evil. Now he is systematically going about it. First Iraq. Then Iran. Finally North Korea.

He maybe president but he is human. His wants and needs are based on that. Absolute power....

Good Point, It will take years for them to have what they need to created them, They have talk about Israel, but who in middle east doesn't, they know how to take care of themselves, USA will sit down and watch the hole situation and do nothing about it, You know why because the whole world is watching us, Let europe take care of this one. "Key European nations are considering offering Iran a light-water nuclear reactor as part of incentives meant to persuade Tehran to give up its uranium enrichment program, a senior diplomat said Tuesday.

But a U.S. official said Washington would likely oppose the plan.

A senior diplomat familiar with international attempts to dissuade Iran from enrichment said the tentative plans still were being discussed among France, Britain and Germany as part of a possible package to be presented Friday to senior representatives of the five permanent U.N. Security Council members. "


Give them what they are asking for so we don't have to worry about them doing something other than what we want them to do in pursuit of their dream... (if that makes sense.)

"Venezuela is considering selling its fleet of U.S.-made F-16 fighter jets to another country, perhaps Iran, in response to a U.S. ban on arms sales to President Hugo Chavez's government, a military official said Tuesday.

Gen. Alberto Muller, a senior adviser to Chavez, told The Associated Press he had recommended to the defense minister that Venezuela consider selling the 21 jets to another country.



Muller said he thought it was worthwhile to consider "the feasibility of a negotiation with Iran for the sale of those planes."

Even before the U.S. announced the ban on arms sales Monday, Washington had stopped selling Venezuela sensitive upgrades for the F- 16s.

Chavez has previously warned he could share the U.S. jets with Cuba if Washington does not supply parts for the planes. He also has said he may look into buying fighter jets from Russia or China instead."


(Sorry to those that were planning on a retirement village in Venezuela. It might not be the best time to approach them about buying property.)
